Forearm tendonitis
Anybody experience tendonitis in the wrist? I've had it mild for years and it went into hyperdrive in my right arm a couple months ago. My doctor recommended ice and large (800 mg.) doses of Ibuprofen 3 times a day. He gave me several bubble packs of that size tablet, and I know the stuff can't be too cheap.
It improved a lot almost immediately though it's begun to recur, though not as bad. I'm going to ask him on my next visit if it's a good idea to use that much Ib. for a long period. I'm down to one a day because of concerns on that score. Dr.Weil.com says steroid injections into the sheath can help though he says he'd avoid it if possible. Also says DMSO might help, I used that in the past, results inconclusive, will try it again.
