IIRC, Knob is 100 proof. Woodford is EXCELLENT sippin' whiskey and both are decent plonk.

But, don't take my word for it, we don't drink all that much whiskey at the farm.

I am glad to see all her taste isn't in her mouth.

Only thing I remember was rolling the window down in the "hood" and yelling at some gang looking dude with graphics all over his Accura, "Yo dude, I think I can buff that **** off" while we're sitting at a red light.

Tab said she drove off pretty quick.

I haven't touched Wellers since.

Wild Turkey 101 is the finest in the land, IMHO. Makers Mark and Knob Hill are OK, but seem almost bland compared to WT 101.

Well, it turns out they all played on the other team. Plus, they drank me under the table that night.

Next day I was refered to as Whiskeydan.

Bourbon County lol

Jack Daniels is called "Tennesee Whiskey" largely because of the filtration process, and because since it's made in Tennessee (instead of Kentucky) it can't legally be called "bourbon".

Most bourbon drinkers I know also enjoy Jack Daniels; it's very, very similar to a bourbon, and tastes very similar (again, the difference is legal name usage, as much as anything).

Jim Beam is bourbon, but it's the "McDonalds" of bourbon. I use it for my "mixer" bourbon; if your granddad wants some good stuff, try Bookers, Bakers, or Maker's Mark.

Don't know how that came about. I used to live in Louisville and they make a point of telling you that in Kentucky.

I prefer that wonderful Scottish beverage, myself.
