I do when I get the chance. Usually a little catnap, 20-25 minutes, after I eat lunch gives me a little spring in my step for the afternoon grind.

Sometimes on a Sunday when there's a ballgame on the radio. There's nothing more relaxing to me than slipping down to the club, opening up the hatches, putting a game on the radio and catching a few Z's in the V-berth while listening to the waves lap the hull. Sans kids of course.

Those long trips to NC and back are brutal. Having somebody to laugh and joke around with is priceless.

I understand and agree with that, for sure.

I used to do Chicago to LA, midnight, non-stop and solo at 40+K feet.
Talk about lonely.

Sometimes I could “split a freq” and chat with a buddy at Albuquerque Center. But even those times were rare.

Good time to go into “deep ponder about life” I guess. But that’s about it.

The number one killer of my age group/race/etc..
is heart attacks.

The number one cause of heart attacks is stress.

The number one stress reliever is naps

Plus, I am just lazy and irresponsible
( not a self opinion, what others have said )

I guess we will see who lives longer ???

Me, the lazy napper...

Living in Anna, how can you be anything but?

BTW – Have Frisco and McKinney reached you yet?

When I met DJ, she was living up in the Van Alstyne/Gunter area. We could
drive to Dallas Love Field from there back then in about 25 minutes. Nothing but farm fields and Tub Clubs on 455 and N Marsh Ln.

I guess it’s not like that now, huh? (sad)

Lindberg must have had a helluva time staying awake on that first trip fromk NY to Paris!

My dad's oldest brother outlived all his younger brothers. He took a nap everyday. So, maybe there's something to be said for it.

I nap every day if possible. The trick is to limit your nap under a hour. I ususally go for about 45 mins. Napping with a loved one is pure heaven!

If I fall asleep during the day, I'm usually a bear when I wake up. Maybe I was sleeping too long.

I absolutly hate the drive to Dallas.
It is not too bad untill you get to Mckinney.
Then, OMG
That is one of the reasons I have a beat up old dodge 3/4 ton sitting
on 36 inch military tires.
I need to go take my anti anexiety meds just thinking about it.

Probably. It has to do with REM cycles. I forget the exact numbers but if you go to long the dreaded nap hangover is highly likely!
