So, you're saying it IS safe to drink the Kool-Aid at your house, Carleton?

Mistress makes a truly delightful Melontini in the summertime. Other than that I rarely ever drink Vodka. I'm more of a gin and tonic man in the warmer months of the year.

I've tasted Red Bull before. I don't know how anybody can drink that stuff. I've heard that is a popular drink because you can get drunk without falling asleep.

vodka mix

My favorite is vodka and Milk of Magnesia. It's called a Phillips Screwdriver.

RedBull tastes terrible. However, it is very addicting. I am up to four a day after using them for fuel during my runs up to NY and back!

As for Vodka, if t is really good stuff (Belvedere, Bison, or the like) it is chilled in the freezer and taken straight after being poured into vodka glasses (tall shot glasses kept in an ice bucket) mm mm good!

Cheap stuff gets mixed with Cracker Barrel's Strawberry Lemonade and fed to the women

After speaking with my mother she offered these suggestions, I have no idea if they're any good.

The Godmother: 50% vodka, 50% amaretto

Belvidere Martini with a splash of cranberry

Stoli Vanilla and Diet Coke.

POM pomegranate juice, it's really GREAT!

Look, I know you already like cranberry, and if you do you'll love pomegranate juice and vodka. Tart, with a really good berry taste.

I know you're going to say POM is expensive. It is! All really good things are! Don't be CHEAP!

Get rid of the Grey Goose! YUK! French Swill! In blind taste test I've seen, it came in DEAD LAST!

Only buy vodka that has been distilled four or five times!

Examples: Skyy (4 times)
Boru (5 times)
Svedka (5 times)

Smirnoff (yuk!)(3 times)

Vodka and beef bullion - called a Bullshot. My friend's mother would pound these when we'd go out to dinner together back in high school. Tastes horrible.

Next time you have a BBQ or a picnic, you should try spiking a watermelon with vodka. Just cut a small hole on the narrow end, put a funnel in the hole, and slowly pour the vodka in. It'll get absorbed by the watermelon. Do this the day before.

I don't know if you all can get Canadian Iceberg vodka down there, but if you can, I recommend it. Its very smooth. The water used in it is taken from deep inside icebergs so it is very clean, and the vodka is triple distilled. Almost as smooth as Grey Goose at half the price.

Jello. One cup boiling water, disolve the Jello into it, like the package says, then add one cup freezing cold vodka. Pour into whatever you want semi-solid alcohol in. Then once it sets up, in the fridge usually, you can swallow the shots whole without tasting the alcohol at all. It's neat, but the novelty wears of. Women seem to find it more interesting.

Myself? I just mix it with the cheap windshield washer fluid to lower the freezing point and improve it's cleaning/drying abilities. It's great to do this in the parking lot of a liquor store where drunks are hanging out, trying to score some booze. The look they give you when you pull the bottle out of the paper bag, but then proceed to pour it into your car, are priceless.
