Nice drink. Plenty of flavorful add-ins to cover up the taste of the grain neutral spirit.

I can assure you that we have produced many Vodka drinks that are perfectly balanced and you will absolutely appreciate the fact that you cannot taste the Vodka whatsoever:

Here are two of my absolute favorites:

1 1/2 oz. Vodka
1 oz. Cranberry juice
1 oz. St. Germain elderflower liqueur
1/2 oz. Triple sec
1 Teaspoon lime juice
1 Teaspoon maraschino cherry juice (optional)

1 1/2 oz. Pinnacle Chocolate Vodka
1 oz. Half & half (we used fat free)
1 oz. Chocolate liqueur (typically Godiva)
1 oz. Creme de Cacao
1 Teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder
1 oz. Whipped cream topping (we used fat free)
1 Square of chocolate to shave over top

You need to warm one of the liquids in a microwave to get it to the point where it will dissolve the cocoa powder. Then add the mixture to the shaker.

Both are shaken over ice (and are better and less diluted if the vodka is from the freezer and the remaining liquours are refrigerated prior to making the drinks)

These two are so excellent, that you won't be able to stop at one..............I guarantee it.

Drinks for people who don't like liquor. They do sound good for dessert or something though. No worries about having to actually taste vodka.

We keep vodka around for cleaning wounds. Sometimes we have guests who want it too. The Mrs. and I almost exclusively drink bourbon now....with a bit of water and ice. More water in the summer, no ice on a cold day.
