Definitely with you on that. I grew up in a bubble, went to high school in a bubble, went to college in a bubble, and basically still live in a bubble. But boy, since college, I have become more and more aware of what goes on in the country, and worse, the world. I also work for a newspaper and can't believe the kinds of things I read about.

My growing interest in the economy has also left me with an unfortunate awareness of where our country is headed. Maybe I'm overly pessimistic, but I think we're in big trouble.

home alarm systems. No, I mean when I have the code. (B&E just ain't my type of work). My sister and I were delivering a treadmill to another sister's house one day and even though we punched in the code the alarm kept going. Turned out sister had given us the code but not the extra key you press (# or * or something). Had to stand right in front of the control box with the electronic siren screaming (and it was PAINFULLY loud) until figured out the extra keystroke. Now I have a completely silly fear of the darn things.

The smell of rest homes and hospitals.

Riding a unicycle or bicycle on a roof, blindfolded always scares me.

Reaching old age, poor.

arrogant ignorance

Large groups of people doing things in unison.
Like praying fervently, or the Hitler marching thing.

Mass manipulation of people.
Hitler, Manson, weird religion, consumerism.

People not looking you in the eyes anymore when you are passing them
on the street, or in a store ?

Thank You

Blood in the water.

Pettiness and tedious meddlers. They can wreak such unbelieveable amounts of havoc in places like the military. The pervading truth though, is that you can't keep a good man down.

I never worried about riding a unicycle on a roof while blindfolded before today. THANKS A LOT, Mr. Kenny!
