67 Barracuda update.

We now have Xenon's.

Got my radio delete "sorta" switch panel mocked up, but still have to center the switches a bit.

It's the original gauge cluster, I just painted it flat black, removed the old gauges, stuffed some new ones in, (not easy) and had to cut and fab alot of provisions in the aluminum rear backing housing to accept wiring, new speedo cable and to make the panels line up right.

I bought the gauges from EZwiring when I bought my wiring harness.

Hope to have pics of the painted motor next week if all the wiring goes smoothly.

The motor is a "mildly" built 360 with 11.0-1 compression, dynoed eight consistent best pulls @ 441 H/P at the flywheel with not alot of serious tuning, a big, solid lift cam, harland sharp roller rockers, strip dominator single plane intake and a modified holley 800 CFM double pumper.

Should get me into the 11's in my 2800# cuda on race gas, but I'll have to dumb the timing to 30 deg total and run pump gas on the street with 3.23 gears, and keep the 4.30 gears for the track.

She should be lotsa fun with the four speed, and I won't be thrashing it at the track anyways.

Yes, and no.
They are the ones you want to shoot out, but properly aimed they are other driver friendly.
We had these very same lights in my brother in law's Porsche 944 and we did some test drives to make sure they were working well and not frying the general public's retina's.

My car has a mean rake to it so even at full up adjustment, I probably will not be able to see too, too far down the road as it stands, thus keeping others from shooting at me.

Hmmm...Years ago, I was lucky to get halogen upgrades to my sealed-beam headlights on my VW...

Wonder if I can do Xenons as well...did the kit come with the ballast resistors? How's the current draw compared to the stock headlights?

Very nice!!

There's a '70 Cuda FS near my work. Has a built 360 and the owner also mentions that it produces 400hp/415tq at the crank. Non numbers car, but looks to be well done. Asking $23k...
