I for one just love some women who let their hair go gray, but their skin color and the color of the hair can make or break that deal. One of the teachers at the school where my wife works has salt and pepper hair and a great tan, yowza! And, congrats Tom, hope all goes well.

Actually, skin "texture" blows it for me! Nothing like seeing a woman with a great tan color over a veneer of leathery flesh!!!??

I just got home from a full day of orientation. I learned that three things are dischargible offenses:
1. Drinking or drugs on the job.
2. surfing porno on company time
3. physical violence on the job.

I don't think I have to worry about any of those. I was tempted to doze off only once during the sexual harrassment film, since I felt pretty sure nobody would be harrassing me or vice versa, but it got too interesting I guess.

Wowzie the bennies are great.

Damn, I guess a career at Purdue isn't in my future.

I'd imagine the benefits package is great. My FIL was a math prof. at Southern CT State and his bennies made me envious.

Continued good luck!

I thought no drugs on the job!
Bennie is slang for a tablet of Benzedrine (amphetamine sulphate).

I've always thought that working at U would be about the best job one could have. Think you’ll turn away from this gig any time soon?

I have a question about drinking: is it not permitted at all, or can you have a drink during lunch?

I believe a drink at lunch would be a bad idea. I never do anyway so its no sacrifice to me.

I just finished my first week. So far so good. I think I am going to enjoy it very much.
