Last night the opposing coach moved his guy a weight class to avoid being beaten by one of the twins. It worked for them and they beat us by a hair depending the last match.

When I was their age i wrestled at 127 and at 138 as a senior.

The twins wrestled today at the conference in Kokomo.. They both were well seeded we thought. So they buyed their first matches.

The 165# twin won a match then got shoulder injured in a sort of slam move...took him to the urgent care and found no broken bones.

Fingers crossed there is a biggish match next weekend he'd like to do.

i can observe my fitness slipping away. its still not too bad. very minor tremors, slurred speech and poor balance.

i can still drive pretty well.

Dang ! Say it ain't so ! Back to reality I too am falling apart. Bit by Bit. BYTE by BYTE.

I'm pretty sure 2025 will be my swan song, I'm still out working on my rigs but the lack of flexibility and endless pain is getting to me .

I'm 67 and I can start to see I'm not the same as 35 or 45 or 55. I need more sleep to work hard consistently-at least 8 1/2 of good sleep. I have a roofing project coming up on our new fixer upper-tearing off a shake roof and installing a metal roof on a portion of our "barn" plus replacing the rotten battens, rebuilding the eaves and gable extensions, etc. The building was built in '76 and has the original roof. The sun coming through the roof illuminates the interior. I will see if I hold up. I am getting some help on the tear off and lifting sheets of 3/4 ply.
