my laptop has a centrino 2.0 ghz dual core 3 gigs of ram 250 gig hard drive  and will perform well at what I need it for

Sony Vaios are known for overheating and toasting the HDD. My firm had a major problem with over 100 Sony Vaios and all were replaced at least twice during the lease period by Sony for meltsowns and HDD BBQ's.
We went to a split of Lenovo and Dell and so far to major FUBARs...

My laptop is slated to be shipped out the 17th. Dell says its " in production" which usually means they are building the thing. However, my laptop is a "previously ordered new" ( never turned on by the purchaser, pretty much canceled mid shipment after it was built). So it should be sitting on a shelf, I bet once they confirm my payment it will be on a truck to me tomorrow or as scheduled.

My brothers friend has a MacBook Pro, and he dropped the thing, and it survived the fall, it bent the thing, but it sprung back into shape shortly after. I have had very few problems with my iBook, so I am a Mac fan for life...

it has arrived!
I'm installing my needed software and some other stuff to rip the music off my iPod back to iTunes. I need to get an external hard drive now The 9 cell battery is awesome, it came out of the box with a full charge and I have 5 hours 46 minutes left on it at my current rate. now to set up windows aero and its good to go. plus uninstall all of that trial software
