My wife and I both work for a major credit card company as IT Project Managers. Virtual 90% of the time. Can't say too much... Highly sensitive company.

25 years of nerd work, but I'd not do it again if starting over.

Not officially, but I run and manage a server at home, Windows 2003 x64 Enterprise R2, with the majority of the features enabled, Active Directory, Exchange, DNS, HTTP, DHCP, RRAS, and a ton of others... Wired my first network at 10 years old, and kept going from there, and I program in several languages. But I still can't ever find anyone that'll hire me... Majoring in computer science when college starts this fall..

Been working with/in IT since I was about 11 years old....been on the computer since I could press the keys.

I manage three servers here at home for my dad's company, and worked in the IT dept at my college for 3.5 years....but now I have graduated and in this great economy have no job. 4 year BS of Computer Information Systems....no luck so far in finding anything. Its been over 2 months so far....gotta love Michigan with our near 10% unemployment now...

Anyone in Michigan need an IT person?

Now days, I'm more on the display end of computers but I have some background in them. I learned BASIC in the '70's on a HP 3000 mainframe. FORTRAN, COBOL and ASSEMBLER on an IBM 3270 at Ohio State in the '80's.

Now just dabble in AMX/Panja and Crestron AV system control code. I don't actually write the code, I just crack the whip on the contractors and make them write it to spec...
