Fast Eddie's Bon Air is an astounding bar/food joint. Cheap food, cheap beer, supposedly the biggest seller of Anheuser Busch products in the midwest. The crowd ranges from 21 year olds to drunk grannies. The main building looks like it used to be a prohibition-era speakeasy on the outside, just a seedy tavern inside, but packed even at lunch time.

It's about the only decent thing in Alton...
