She could/should have simply stated that she wasn’t comfortable doing business with them, and politely request that they leave her place of business.

This woman clearly sounds like a whack job. However given the circumstances of the situation, potential new client etc, I would think that mentioning playboy was a mistake. Hooters doubly so. At that point it was probably irretrievable. I'd have likely just walked away but if the peadophile thing was flung after me I might have flung back as well.

Like I said, "might". Now, if I was a day care operator or a pediatrician, etc, etc, I might not want this thing getting anywheres that might have a negative effect on my career.
