It was an '03 E320 with 17K miles, great shape & clear title, asking price $4500. Definitely a scam.

Hello ,

I apologize for the delay, I'm in the Navy and now I am in United Kingdom and that's why I couldn't reply in time. Anyway, thank you for your interest in buying the car. Why is the price so low? I am selling the car because I am here in UK with my work, and my squadron will be deployed in three weeks in Iraq and I think I'll stay there for a while that's why I'm selling it so cheap. I intend to buy a new car when I'll get back home. So all that I want to do now is to sell the car at this price, because I need to sell it fast. Now I will tell you a few words about the car. 2003 Mercedes-Benz E-320 , it is in perfect condition, with no need for additional repairs, no scratches, dings, special marks whatsoever. The interior looks great (NO SMOKING). It has 17,780 miles and the VIN # is: wdbuf65j73a342367 . It has a clear title ready to be signed and notarized on your name. I have the pictures hosted on the internet and you can see them at : http://i475.photobucket.com/albums/rr115/mbenz320e/

The price is $4500 THIS IS MY LAST PRICE. I will not negotiate the price. I will take in consideration only those buyers who are really interested in buying the car, to be sure that I don't waste my time with endless discussions. This way, I shall be assured of the serious intentions. So if you are interested please email me back for next step.

Thank you.

Daniel,

Did you ask him where and when you could see the car? I'm curious what he'd say.

looks like a Florida plate in one of the photobucket pics, that would match the scenery. I've never had a title "notorized" in my name. Anyone else?

pa has become strict(er) about 'open' titles; now the title has to be signed by the seller with a buyer's name filled in and notarized before the title transfer end of the transaction can take place.

Wow, he will even pay for shipping the car back if you don't like it. Sounds like a great offer!

Did you ask him about coming to see the car? Tell him you have a guy in Reno who's willing to check it out for you.
