OTOH I think the Caddy is ugly!

Apart from pesky electronics, any MB or BMW will outlast the Caddy day in, day out. In terms of overall design and construction, there is no way a Caddy can ever be compared to a MB or BMW or for that matter an Audi. If CR reports are anything to go by, MBs don't have engine issues in general, they are horribly let down by the electronics controlling the engine and ancillaries.

OK I sat through about 2 1/2 minutes of that; what does it have to do with Caddys, BMW's or Mercs?

Its a review of the CTSV? They did race it with an RS4.

That isn't even the new CTS.

GM's latest cars have been pretty good.

I don't really care that much about performance numbers though. Just hype until you get in one and drive.

What's the weight difference of the Corvette vs the CTS-V? Does that engine have more torque in the CTS-V? It seems like it would.

The new CTS-V will have more torque (550 ft-lbs) than the Z06 (400 ft-lbs) but the Z06 is 1000 pounds lighter. They've done a great job keeping their sports car light unlike the Germans and the Japanese.
