It was supposed to be a basic install, but now I'm dressing up things as if to enter a car audio show! Just replaced the amp hold-down screws with some chrome allen head cap screws. Dressed up wire temination points, etc.

Yet to do: Find that pesky speed-dependent volume control wire that I disconected from the Becker...it's buried somewhere in the head unit cavity. Also need to purchase an ISO-to-DIN interface to get the CD changer working with the head unit. Finally, I need to isolate some engine noise entering the signal path to the iPod. But for the most part, I just crank the tunes and annoy the neighbors!

Ok...back to our regularly-scheduled thread about hood ornaments...
