Angry Cannot even go out to vote.....

I've been in the house since my surgery last Wednesday.

Figured it would be a good opportunity for a short trip to vote. How bad could that be? 30 minutes out and back..........some fresh air..........sunshine.

Went out with the '87, made a right turn onto Main Street........accelerated to the limit.........30 mph.........and a POS van appears behind me wanting to do 80. Moves to the right shoulder..........thinking about passing on the shoulder..........brilliance takes hold of him..........and he returns to his spot at M/B minus four feet. This continues to the next light where I make a right turn and am done with him.

Well, that's my a'hole for the day..........the rest of the day will be a breeze...........right.........right???

Pull into the school parking lot which has a right of way near the building and parking spaces on the far side of the right of way.

Driving about 10 mph and a moron comes flying out from the parking area directly in front of me and needs to complete his 180 degree turn to head out of the lot (from where I was coming). I stop the M/B before plowing into his driver's door. No big deal........another a'hole.

He passes me and is screaming about me being "some kind of a'hole".

Leave it.

Park the '87.

Get out and walk to the building.

Surprise.........he's not leaving.........he's picking up his wife at the front doors.........

Leave it and plan to just walk past into the building.

"What are you some kind of a'hole"??

I turn and I lose it...........doesn't matter if I'm feeling like ****........have no strength........or the incisions hurt. I grab this POS by the shoulders and slam him into his car while his wife is screaming. A few seconds go by and another fellow breaks it up.

He just continues with his BS and I go into the school.

Moral of the story:

Cannot even go out to vote for 30 minutes without getting involved with two separate a'holes.

My incisions hurt............

People suck.

I'm glad you made it through your surgery, and a speedy recovery.

Look on the bright side--you would be dead and/or dying if you would have pulled that at the precinct I voted at today.

Are the hydrocodones the equivalent of the first ingredient in stone soup?

You could still listen to Pink Floyd's 'Divison Bell' and sip scotch, which is what you probably NEED to do...

I think you're right..........I'm going to get a nip of JWB.

Believe me........I regret it.........but, I really tried to ignore him.........I don't desire any altercations. If I was feeling better, I'd have probably hospitalized him.........much to my financial and legal detriment.

Tonight that may be a good thing.
Just for the hell of it I took my '25 Vauxhall to the polling place in Huntington Village, picked up a couple octogenarian friends who don't get out much,so I figured the old car would appeal to them.

My experience was similar to yours with the added nonsense of some guidos in their SUVs having an automatic assumption that old cars are slow, and they invariably act accordingly.I won't even mention the hooples in baseball caps in their new {probably leased}Jags and Bimmers who park where they choose and the hell with everyone else.

Perhaps we need a good financial collapse, bring these arrogant a**holes down to where they belong.....and after they lose their McMansions you and I shall be renting houses and apts,to 'em!

Why do you think I hate working at the deli? I have to deal with these morons, and can't stand it.

If I ever win the lotto I'll pay someone to run errands for me so I'll hardly ever have to interact with the public. I only enjoy going into a handfull of very small mom and pop stores, where other people like us are.

I voted early and thankfully it was mostly normal people.
