The Sonic commercials bombard me on a daily basis, but it's too hot here most of the year to consider eating in my car.

Q. about the commercials, the ones with the balding husband and the cute (if snippy) wife. Is she played by long-time actress Molly Hagan? (You'll remember her from "Herman's Head" and as the curly-haired Latvian Orthodox girl, Sister Roberta, Kramer was attracted to in the Seinfeld "kavorka" episode.) In one of the spots a few weeks ago the male actor called the actress "Molly," and it started me thinking that they do look alike. Anybody know?

Got my cholesterol down from 174 ldl 54 hdl to 54 ldl 52 hdl by eating lipitor and healthy food and not eating at Sonic. My heart stent seems to be holding up good and I can run like the wind.
Eating anything greasy makes me sick now.

I used to eat at a Sonic across the street from where I lived in Fort Smith, AR. There aren't too many of them around here, though. We stopped at one on Rt 66 in Arizona once. My kids loved it.

I liked it. Hey, it's fast food, it's nothing that great.

Sonic isn't pretty good, their tator tots are awesome.

As far as fast food goes though... nothing in the world beats Whataburger.

Amen to that. My favorite chain burger joint. They've been creeping slowly into Louisiana.

Plus they serve breakfast 11p-11a.

You should consider buying one as an investment if you like the product, to expand your portfolio, and so you could say you own a restaurant. Their liquidity and net worth requirements are relatively low for that market and the upfront franchise fee is about the lowest I have seen. They're cool for car drive in get togethers too.

My mom just moved to San Antonio from the Sacramento area, her co-workers were telling her about Whataburger. She called me a few weeks back to tell me that it doesn't compare to In-n-Out.

I'll be going to see her this summer... I'll give it a fair evaluation
