No need for anything fancy. Anything they mark you rub their nose in followed by a few smacks with an open palm. Then you walk away and ignore them for 5 minutes. After the time has passed you can pet and reassure them that you're no longer angry. After the age of 5 months there is no excuse for dogs having accidents in the house. It's no longer their fault, rather the owner's.

As my Grandpa used to say: "The best way to stop dogs and women from yapping is to slap the meat to their mouth".

Thanks for all the resposnes, we spank them and rub their nose in it but that doesn't stop them. They do only pop on the furniture when we're around which is good.

It just pisses us all off when they all pee in the house. Our German shep never had an accident, but then, when my sister got Ein and he started peeing on everything (i'm guessing marking?) and now our German Shep does it too and he makes lakes when he pees and it's hard to get out.

How can we get them from remarking old spots because that's what I think their doing. We're not going to fix the German Shep and the Corgi because we plan to breed. But the maltese we will. All the bad habits came from this Welsh Corgi... ugh I'll see about the shock collars probably put 10 of them on the corgi
