When you are correcting your dog (or anything else for that matter):
1. You have 3 (three) seconds from when you see the problem to start the correction. Anything longer, and it's out of their mind. After that, they don't know what the fuss was all about. 2. After starting the correction, you have 30 (thirty) seconds to do whatever you need to do. Rubbing their nose in it two hours after they've pooped on your kitchen floor does nothing. These are pack animals, and you need to talk the pack language.
