Anyone who thinks closing Gitmo will stop prisoner abuse/torture is misinformed.

They will simply be moved off US soil or to another country, say Turkey, for interrogation.

Thats fine by me to, I'm sure Turkey or Isreal would be more than willing to extract the needed info. They don't have the hang ups that we do.

Better yet, if they are suppose to be brought to the US, let's have Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Maricopa County, Arizona, dress their silly little @553s in pink underwear, feed each of them green balogna and have them sleep in the now-infamous tents of the Southwest desert region...about as close to "home" (probably more liveable than their real homes...

) as they should ever get...

Somebody has to make us safer. Bush didn't keep us safe. We are less safe now than we have been since 9-11. Oh wait, no, that BS line went out the window at 12:00 PM January 20th.

I'm sorry...that last line and tag just reminds me too much of the adoration that occurred many years ago...in a land far, far away...where beer is celebrated each autumn and Austrians could grow up and present their delusional ideas as enlightened thinking and with a little more beer, end up running a Government that eventually would be responsible for over 30-million dead and even more maimed and scarred for life...

She's trying to "needle" Bill Young? Nice shot there, lady...your own dig begs to be dissected...

It's not a prison ANYMORE (since at least, 1963), it's been a national recreation area since 1972...it's being OPERATED by the NATIONAL PARK SERVICE...

If you're going to shoot for a national sound-bite, better be sure the bites are properly chewed...looks like there's something stuck in her teeth...
