How about redirecting some of the hot high velocity jet blast through thin-walled ceramic tubing. As the gases cool from radiative heating on the leading edge they will create a low pressure exhaust side that could bleed off the trailing edge.

Isn't that kinda the theory of a Scram or Ram Jet?
