Manny, your Parasound equipment will work perfectly well with Magnepans. In fact, I wouldn't consider it an "upgrade" but rather a simple change. Maggies aren't really that difficult to drive because the impedance doesn't really go down that low unlike some other speakers. I've always considered Parasound equipment to be slightly on the "brutish" side
