Working FOR DHS, I have to take exception to any comparison between us and the Gestapo. We are much more like the NKVD

Seriously, these reports come out all the time. I am sure you could find a report warning about the New Black Panthers and ACORN. The DHS is all about STABILITY we don't like radicals on either extreme. Now that Obama is in power you are going to see more leaks of reports about right-wing activity... Funny thing is that the same people who were against DHS and all the Bush security things (like the wiretaps) are all for them now. Hmmmmm

Believe anything you want, but acting on those beliefs may get your status updated. I don't think the intent of the footnote (which I was unable to find...yet) was to examine the particulars of state v. federal powers, but rather the general debate, which is staple argument among the right wing militia types.

By the way, I too love the federal government, and would never question their authority, for the record.

are they gone yet?

Just knowing of activity like this and not reporting it is in itself a felony. Some might dare call it treason.

I don't see anything on the level of endorsing the actions of Timothy McVeigh in what you've quoted, and as I said before, I don't think such talk would be tolerated by the forum if it did occur.

So I am an advocate of armed violence against the government now? Why don't you just get a pair and admit I am right? I stated that there are people on the right going off the deep end, and it is so common, you can find it right here on this forum. You asked me to prove it. I did. Now belly up to the bar with the big boys and admit I'm right. DHS has every right to start tracking the right wing nut jobs in this country, they are at the point of posting treason with impunity on car sites, FCSakes. ACORN? Get real. And I have never been against wiretaps, what I and most Democrats are against are wiretaps without a warrant. I bet some DHS drone at a computer who just tagged this thread is filling one out for jpville right now.
