The wagons though are beautiful, 100x better looking than the fugly w210 wagons.

Sounds like a sweet ride, but what about the ride the dealer will take you for if it needs repairs? I'd be too afraid to own one just for that reason.....

I'd rather have a 1992 500E or something. Easier to repair, way cheaper to buy. Though, with enough $$ on tap, I'd take a new one like that.

Have you factored in the cost of gas and tickets that 302HP will earn you?

Nice car I like the W211. I got the bug bad when I played around with my uncles in FL a few weeks ago.

I'd love to get his when he is done with it.

IMHO airmatic is kind of a waste, they ride pretty damn good without it. To avoid the brakes you would have to buy a newer one, I think 06 was the last year for those brakes.

No way could I have justified a 500E either. This car filled the needs of 2 cars I owned, so its saving me money there.

This one has been dealer serviced its entire life, and just went through having all the brakes done and service. I guess a warranty is not feasible, so I guess I'll just have to have a couple thousand bucks always on reserve just in case something goes boom.

My father had a 2004 CLK 500 new, and sold it 2 years later with only 2000 miles on it. I imagine I put half of those miles on sneaking it out when they weren't in town. I love the motor and the interior comfort options it comes with. Obsidian black is a showstopper color as well.

I'm VERY excited to get this thing. I still get a flashy luxury car but don't come off as a prick because its a station wagon. Fuel economy didn't register in my head, since Ol' Turbo will still handle all the road trips.

I hope to temper my W123 purchases to one project at a time. If I want another one, Trigger will have to be sold. I will only make an exception if its a deal way too good to be true. I do tend to find alot of those, though.
