I kid, Fulcrum, I kid.  Captain Daniel Packer Inn http://www.danielpacker.com/ Cool place, not German, but very much old New England. My father keeps his boat (sale pending marine survey) right up the street at Fort Rachel so we've been there many times. It's on the quaint side so it can get packed depending on the time. It has a more formal dining room upstairs (very good food and priced accordingly) with a pub in the basement which actually has a good sized pub menu.
