I'm sure the rights to the music of the Beatles that Michael purchased is worth something. but, yes, it appears he wasn't the best money manager. this happens to more than a few in the entertainment biz, especially with musicians. and in some cases, they hire Bernie Madoff types to manage their funds, SCARY.

I thought I heard that Paul bought the beatles rights back.

(probably at a good discount...I think paul is a pretty good business man...can't say much for his judgment in women in the last ten years or so).

They were coined by the less capable and/or fortunate to assuage their feelings. Call it a "consolation prize", 2nd place prize, etc, etc. Like they say, 2nd place is 1st loser.

Talent is irrelevant in this case. I am a talented violinist. Does that make me immune to being screwed by a greaseball mechanic?

And that differs from any other industry, how? I don't give a rip about your health, your spouse, etc, etc if I am selling Hot Dogs, do I? If I were a life insurance agent, you bet I would be concerned about your health. If I were a marriage counselor, I would be concerned about your spouse. Other than that, if people don't have a vested interest in you, you could be rolled over by the next truck for all they care.

As far a Micheal, he was talanted.
You may already have had your house foreclosed on.

Initially unable to work after breaking his neck in a fall in 2007, McMahon made news a year later when he defaulted on $4.8 million in mortgage loans and was facing the possible foreclosure of his multimillion-dollar Beverly Hills estate, which had been on the market for two years. An outside party purchased the mortgage and the McMahons were still living in the home.

that's my definition of real child abuse.
That's a pretty poor excuse for his actions. Would you care to explain why Tiger Woods didn't wind up like MJ?

The excuse from the mindfawks will be that every case is different, blah, blah, blah. Those childhood things are just a blame game. Find some excuse to say the guy is not at fault for his misdeeds then suck more money out of him for therapy, buy your yacht, mistresses, etc, etc. Of course we cannot predict how long the therapy will take or what portion of your problems will be fixed but we will take your money till then.

If someone fixed your house or car like they "fixed" minds, you'd have fired them a long time ago. Basically, they are the "buy an excuse" department. Take this case for example. A woman had a "rock party" for her kids. 2 died and one severely brain damaged. 2 mindfawks on the prosecutor's side said she was sane and her defense team came up with 2 that said she was insane. What a load of crap.

MJ was a product...he was milked by Jo Jackson at an early age (just as much so as his siblings in J5) and even after Jo Jackson got kicked to the curb...there was another snake, just waiting in the grass to take over from daddy...so those 20 or so folks that lived the High-life off MJ were also those that formed him...

How could anyone allow themselves to be sculpted into the final piece of work this guy became without someone with his inner sphere of influence saying "YES! YES! YES!" all the time?

He had a hangup on being black...not only was he "whiter" than the white folks standing next to him, he must have hated his family and backround so much he didn't want to just disown them...he probably was experimenting with DNA to get that out of him as well...

And look at all the junk-crazes that popped up along the lines of Michael-think....Oxygen Bars...'cause Mikey was popping himself into iron-lung-type tubes to breathe pure oxygen...

He was a cult onto his own...and the only thing, album/song-wise that could come close to describing Mikey's life would be The Who's 'Tommy' - Mickey was Tommy, the Wizard, the Messiah and finally, Uncle Ernie, all rolled into one...

And a sad one...at that...
