Stuffed Pork Loin
This thread is for those who like to eat. I'm by no means a chef. I cooked one of these things over the 4th of July in my 5th wheel. I figured I would share it with you guys. Cheap Brinkman box smoker. It was so damn good that I did another one yesterday.
If you want to cook one, just follow the pics. Cook the loin in a smoker, grill or oven until the internal temp. is 145 degrees F and rising. Wrap it in foil for 10 minutes before slicing. I used cotton twine to "tie it up". The next GTG in FL, I may bring my truck and the smoker if we set up in a park. I had fun at the last one. Great forum, great people! FYI... For all the Floridians, Publix has been having a sale on some nice loins for about the past 2 weeks. Keep your eyes open! In the pics below, this is only 1/3 of the whole loin from Publix. I cooked 1/3 over the 4th, the other is below (in the pics) and I still have a big chunk in the freezer. Not bad for $18. Regards, AJ Split open and cream cheese: ![]() Spinach Layer: ![]() Prosciutto layer: ![]() 6 italian cheese layer: ![]() Mild Italian Sausage layer: ![]() Ricotta/Parmesan layer: ![]() Salad dressing rub and a heavy dose of Rosemary and Dill out of the garden: ![]() Ready for Smoker: ![]() "Whoop There it is": ![]() Finished: ![]() Sliced: ![]() ENJOY!!!

That looks good. I'll be tempted to try that when the weather cools off and running the oven stops being a downer.

Snookwhaler,
I read you 5th wheel. You might want to post this on RV.NET's > Camp Cooks and Connoisseurs http://www.rv.net/forum/index.cfm/fuseaction/listings/forum/12355902

Only low 90's for highs so far. Mid 90's predicted for later. The heat gets a little less bad next month, and September through Novemeber are usually downright pleasant. It's not really that bad right now, but I have no AC or swamp cooler, so making the house hotter than needed isn't high on my list of things to do right now.

Excellent !
I thought I was getting fancy when I took the little round PLs and cut slits to
stick Garlic Cloves into. That is a Connoisseur's work of Culinary Art.

Looks delicious.....*drool.
I can't help but ask about your stove/counter setup.....that is just a fire accident waiting to happen! What happens when a burner gets left on accidentally and that lid/counter lowered on, then people leave the house.....or, if no one is in the room, and a roaming child happens to mess with the dials, and fires up a burner or two or three.....then gets bored and leaves.....minutes later the counter is in flames.... ???

Think camper... ![]() If it SHOULD start on fire...it will last maybe 5-10 minutes...tops! (Provided it's still not attached to the tow-vehicle...if it is...add another 30 minutes to the cooking time...and the fire-works show that's bound to follow!!!) ![]() (Oh! Wait! I see the "Class A" in the backround of his signature shot... My bad! In that case, you'll be able to witness a rolling, burning mobile home...complete with screaming meemies, coming out of every non-flaming opening!!!)

BTW, snookwhaler, like a good bottle of wine, you just can't eat just a little bit of that creation...you have to finish off the whole thing in one sitting...
![]() I hope you had a hungry crew waiting for you to come out that door with your meal... ![]() BTW, what wine goes good with that?
