Stop paying people to have babies. Cut off all the support system and then those that want to be parents will realize they have to work for it. Makes them appreciate it more. Kinda like a kid that has everything he develops a whim for. He will probably not appreciate it. OTOH, if he had to work for it, he might appreciate it more. If I had to simply ask and Dad provided whatever I wanted, it is easy so I probably will trash my toys. After all, WGAS if it breaks? Just ask Dad for another one or a better one. OTOH, if I had to wash Dad's car for a month to get that toy, you bet I will appreciate it and keep it in as good a condition as I can.

Other than advice from family, friends, church, etc you can't get parents to be better parents. You can't dictate how others should raise their children. I think all you can hope to do is do what you believe is right and set a good example.

I think that the problem is parents don't really care. Like I said before, if they have to work hard to maintain a family, you bet they will think more carefully about their "investment". OTOH, if someone pays for it, they develop the attitude that they don't have to care. Also, when they have more babies than they can handle, even if they were to suddenly decide to care, it might be physically impossible to care.

The problem is not mine. My children are grown, and one has a son of his own. My children grew up with, and still retain a pretty good set of values. I did my part.
It certainly isn't the responsibility of government to control the little sluts among us. ( Maybe ACORN can get them a grant.)

Some girls like the divorced barbie. It comes with all of ken's possesions. It is truly amazing how long that doll has been in the marketplace. Plus the variations over the years.

Another casual observation is most barbie dolls I have noticed never have any clothes on. .Ken never rests it seems.
