Golf Ball Dimples=Better MPG? (Mythbusters)
http://www.autoblog.com/2009/10/22/mythbusters-golf-ball-like-dimpling-mpg/
While viewing the pics of the E63 Wagon I found this link. Very interesting. Would you drive a car with dimples? Mythbusters found they improve MPG by over 10%.

Theres just no way to make that attractive. Though it might look good on a Prius.

I would think a dimpled car would be harder to keep clean. And way harder to wax.

In my head I always imagined my car as more slippery and therefore more economical with a fresh coat of wax on it. Maybe by waxing we're actually slowing them down.
Since the Taurus has so many curving lines and the dimples are in scale for the size of the object, it might actually work. IMO it looks better than cardboard and duct tape.
