How the hell does Iran/Iraq show up on anyone's list of places they want to go hiking. I mean have you hiked every other sq ft of the planet and you need to go to Iraq to say you have done it all? It's like those idiots who 'accidentally crossed in to NK'. Yea right.

These are two countries who do not exactly have the reputation of being all warm and fuzzy. Were I to be so stupid as to go hiking some where in the vicinity of either of these places, I would be carrying 15 GPS devices with me and would not go with in 100 miles of the border.
