It looks like something that Ted kennedy would have tried to drive over.

Ok that just reminds me a little too much of Half-Life 2...

The very middle of that bridge is the scariest part.

That current reminded me of the South Nahanni River in the NWT. We paddled 68 miles in one day on that river.

Ha, I laugh.

And it's no large feat for Ewen McGregor to cross any bridge. He is Obi-Wan Kenobi.

That's some scary stuff! The first one reminds me of some of my dreams. I bet it was not as scary driving as it was watching it from the camera....well maybe.

Kerry, those trucks need a camper on back!

I'm not exaggerating when I say I doubt that I could cross that bridge on foot!

That part at 6:29 reeks of screenplay. If they were so damned worried about their dailies and equipment, they should have loaded it in one of those Urals in the first place.

I was thinking the same thing and wondering about wheelbase. I showed it to my wife and told her I hoped we'd be crossing the bridge in a few years.

It did look that way but I have to wonder that in the anxiety of the moment when they were totally focused on just getting across, everyone forgot to check and make sure that stuff was secured properly.

If you have a chance to find the whole DVD (all series) of the "Long Way Round" you will change your mind about this "screenplay". It is hard to explain in a few words you need to see it for yourself.
