Rational thought vs emotion.

Colts 43 37.

I will quietly root for the underdog saints and one of my favorite atheletes Brees. He has a heart as big as the whole outdoors! He can pick up the team and carry them.

Manning is not too shaggy either, though!

The Indiana/Prudue conection. I liked him at Prudue. I thought Greise pllayed after him. Both I though might get over looked. They got their chance(s), though. Also, ditto on Alstot.

Saints by 3.

Drew Brees is just as good as Payton Manning. I do think Indy's offensive line is better than the Saints.
But I think the Saints have a better running game.
I think in all other aspects both teams are equal. Either way it's going to be a good game.

Colts will pull it out... Payton's just too smart. He'll make his adjustments and get them going after a slow start, I predict. They should pull it out if they don't get too far behind in the first quarter.

I was born in Biloxi, MS, and my dad likes to reminisce about his days at the Blowfly Inn in the "old days." He was there when Dempsey kicked the 63-yarder, and said the place went nuts. Drinks were on the house that night.

I'm pulling for the Colts, but if the "Stains" win, I won't be too upset. Nice to see the underdog take the hot chick to prom once in a while.

Bob Griese was a boilermaker, Brian Griese was a wolverine!

Brees might turn out to be the best qback from PU ever. (Is that still possible?)

Gotta go with the Saints, since I went to school in NOLA and am a LA boy. I do love Indy though, my adopted hometown, but I want a Saints win....

A lot of Hoosiers are torn between the home town Colts and the Purdue Alum Brees. I believe he was originally from TX but he is so likable that we all tend to think of him as a Hoosier.

I think a person could make some money this week selling things with both teams displayed.

Then shouldn't NO, be torn between Peyton, a hometown boy, and their team. Plus Colts have Painter. He's from Prudue, too. A lot of good match ups. I would agree NO has a better running game. When Ugoh got hurt, that really hurt the Colts run game. The Colts have shut down a lot of the better running games in the playoffs. This year and when they won the SB. I think they are better defensively this year. I can see this game going a lot of ways. It really come down to who comes to play.
