The question every college student wants to know on a sunday morning... What can I do to get rid of my hangover?

Lots of water - BEFORE going to bed.

Yes, hydration, but don't forget electrolytes and other minerals that you've lost.

Intoxication is just a simple form of poisoning; you need to assist your liver and kidneys with their job of filtering out the toxin. Fluids are primary, but you need to balance and replenish what the fluids are also taking out. Got some B-12 and a diluted sport drink?

Best solution I've found is to not drink in the first place...........

A russian friend of mine told me that eating lots of bread while you are drinking will reduce to eliminate a hangover. He also says that lots of pizza at the same time could do an ok job if bread isn't available.
I don't drink much, and certainly not to the point of being intoxicated. I have never even drank enough to get a hangover, so I can't say if it worked for myself...

First drink the right drinks. Good vodka and rum will lesson the hangover you get, its more pure. The cheap college gut rot will make it far worse. Sweet drinks are deadly.

Drink a ton of water before going to bed, and as you wake up through the night to pee keep drinking a ton of water. Sport drinks work well to.

I found the best way to get rid of one fast in the morning is hard labor on a hot day; your miserable for a few hours than you feel great after you sweat it out.

Was never a problem for me in college - I just smoked pot, and laughed at the drunks.

Mater juice works for me. I also drink about a gallon of water during the day.

Lots of water. Vegetable juice to replenish salt and vitamins in the morning, followed by hard physical activity to increase sweating and accelerate metabolism. Yogurt for breakfast also helps with GI symptoms and provides a quick shot of carbs to support the hard physical activity.

I probably have a little too much experience in this area.

For me, as the night winds down, I start drinking water and gatorade. Start munching on some bread too. Only had one hangover in 3.5 years of college...

A trip to detox will take care of the hangover, maybe jail. Both will scare the hangover right out of you.

I follow Dean Martins advise "the best cure for a hangover is to stay drunk"

Seriously though drink a big glass of water and take two tynlenol before going to bed, And NEVER MIX DRINKS. IE start with beer end with beer. Etc etc.

The only thing worse than a hangover is praying to the porcelin god with a hangover.

I had a really bad hangover too today. I was at 6 shots of Jack and 1 shot of UV Blue (for the girlfriend).

Oh my goodness I haven't had that much in so long. I had to decline the invite to a party and went back to my room. I ended up drinking 4 glasses of water before bed.

In the dining hall I drank two glasses of orange juice, some water, a banana, apple, and coffee. I've recovered.

Tips for tonight:

1. Drink good liquor. Stop drinking ****ty vodka like Bartons. It really does make a difference.
2. Know when you should switch to water. It's hard, but normally after 3-4 shots of whiskey I go hang out with my friends and head to the parties. There I will probably drink two or three beers and switch to water. I clean out my beer cans and fill them with tap so I don't look like a loser

3. Drink more water before bed!
4. Orange juice in the morning.

Good luck my friend! There are other "herbal" remedies... if you catch my drift. They do tend to work, but most of the time I would rather not ruin it with a thrashing head ache.

I'm pretty sure CLK Man has some tips as well.

Man I had a moderate hangover this morning too...one of my buddy's 21st birthday was yesterday so we all went out. Not gonna tally them all up but lets just say I had a lot. 2 full cups of water before bed gets most of the hangover bugs away, but drinking a lot of beer definitely makes me have to poop at least 2-3 times the next day, so I'd count that as part of a hangover.
