We were just told about it... had I known what the bank was saying no. I wouldnt have. and I said I might have to sell. I dont know what they are saying since we've been making payments like normal... Time will tell, Lucky we kept all the checks etc so, it'll be sorted out soon. but it worse comes to worse I'll sell it. Save up again and find another. the ebb and flow of things.. life happens.

How were you making the payments? Were they regular and on time? There was a woman who was 2 months behind and sent her payment Western Union Quick Collect. Only thing was she gave the WRONG account number. Wells Fargo did not receive the payment on time and started foreclosing on he.

My first rig was a '59 IHC Travelall panel. Bought in 1970 for $300. Tranny was on the way out. Boneyard solved that. Solid truck.

You're averaging 19 mpg on the Excursion? That is not bad, especially considering its reputation for monster size. I might have to look for one for a work truck. Take out all the seats.

You have to be doing A LOT of cruising at lower speeds and drive with an egg between your pedal and your foot. 20 is a bit high unless you use the on-board computer, AKA Lie-O-Meter.

I know its there somewhere. mine gets 14-16 in mixed, but after I tow a heavy trailer the first tank with no load gets 20. I wish I could figure out what setting the computer is changing and change it for good.

What I really hate about those big SUV's is parking them. In FL where everything is new and big thats probably not so much of a problem. But around here things get tight, and long vehicals suck.

My truck is barely OK, my friends 2500HD with the extended cab is pushing it, its a PITA in the parking garages.

We've only had problems in Orlando. Parking there sucks! I usually pull an auto Transport trailer... my milage goes down obviously but tooling about town here my mom was stepping on it and it still averaged 18.2 I think it was. For a Large truck, it's not bad. and certainly not the worst mileage I've had.

Thats good to hear. I'm pretty much sold on a diesel for my next truck. I'm thinking an F250 or F350, reg cab, 8ft bed, 4x4 with a diesel.

I want to get a CAT 304 so I need something that can tow 15k pounds; also I would like to be able to put a ton in the bed.

How did you calculate that? Lie-O-Meter or did you take the miles driven and divided it by the actual fuel used? I fill the tank and do a GPS mileage and divide it by the fuel used. Lie-O-Meter says I am doing 28
