Well, Obama cut spending to NASA so you're gonna have to rely on private industry. I'd be willing to bet that Chili's would have a stake (steak? har har har...) in it .

Actually he increased the budget and also revived the Orion rocket program. The moon isn't the destination anymore, but the rocket program is on the fast track.

The fast track to nowhere. Without the moon as a destination the program has no purpose and will fold. All NASA will be in future is a climate monitoring agency.

Hopefully true, there's not much cost benefit to manned spaceflight as a government program. Everyone who thinks it's really a good investment should rush out and buy stock in a private space venture.
