I am....if it says one peso, then it's worth one peso......if it says five dollars, then it's worth 2.5 Euros, etc.

interesting info but it pertains to 95 and newer or "in circulation" types, this is too old to be in common circulation

Why not check out Ebay's completed items and see what they've been selling for?

Tell me about, I have been selling a gallon of my sperm to the sperm bank weekly. I wish they would change the magazines every once in a while.

I found my old currency book from 2001. It's far from accurate, but you may be in luck. Star notes are valuable since they mean they were replacements during the printing process to avoid serial number duplication. I recommend you get something to carry that in and avoid folding it or handling it with your hands from this point on. Take the note to a local jewelry store that also specializes in currency collecting. Big chain stores don't do this, so look in the yellow pages or google search local "coin collectors". However, don't be disappointed if you get a low value because it was circulated. Circulated currency unfortunately loses significant value because it was well circulated. Edit: I just found this, and I'm really sorry. The note you have my be worth very little. http://en.allexperts.com/q/Coin-Collecting-2297/2009/9/1953-2-dollar-star.htm Still though take it to a jeweler for an opinion.
