My dishwasher has gone out. It seems to be in the panel with the buttons. It is a Kenmore with stainless front and tub and may be around 10 years old. My sister sells appliances and says even good brands of dw only last ten years and cheap ones last four.

I asked if there were any that just have very simple controls like the old fashoned twisty knobs which seem to last forever. She made fun of me.

She did say that Bosch offers one with actual push buttons. Anybody have experience with them?

Any sage thoughts are welcome.
