flight attendants are there to make sure everyone has a SAFE flight. that means when the seat belt sign is ON, your sealt belt remains fastened per FAA regs. this particular passenger felt she was above the law and could do as she pleased. When confronted about this, she went off on the flight attendant.
By asking her to remain seated until the seat belt sign was off, HE was doing his job, she was acting like a spoiled brat. However, he should not have allowed his emotions to take over (easy to do), and should have merely reported the incident to the head flight attendant or the Captain.
does anyone remember the A&E TV show "Airline"?
that show gave me a thousand reason to stay off commercial passenger planes. today's traveling public is made up of hostile, spoiled brat ME ME ME type people looking to act out. being locked up in a closed space with a hundred wackos is NOT my idea of a good time.....
