For many years I have assumed that bigotry referred to racial intolerance. Last week I was called a bigot. I was surprised when I looked up the definition and one source listed it as:

"Stubborn or COMPLETE INTOLERANCE of ANY belief or opinion that differs from ones own"

I want to make it clear that I have ZERO intolerance for anyone based on their ethnicity or anything else that they are born with. It's what's in a persons character that matters to me. Not their skin pigmentation or where they were born.

I posted a thread with about 20 replies to see what some of you have COMPLETE INTOLERANCE for. It seems that many of you, even some who termed ME as a bigot have bigotry of your own.

I along with a number of you have proven to be guilty of bigotry. The funniest response was one saying that they had COMPLETE INTOLERANCE for bigots and racists. Even THAT person is guilty of being what they have COMPLETE INTOLERANCE for, bigotry.

By the listed definition, most everyone is guilty of bigotry.

Think about it.

BTW, the most irritating thing was that my thread was closed before I had the opportunity to defend myself this morning when an attack was made on me after I was disciplined last week for attacking. It would seem that turnabout is fair play and THAT person should have received a warning.
