Just like when working on a car and you drop that important part it's drawn to the most difficult place to retrieve it.

I am beginning a bathroom remodeling project, taking what was a bath(long story) and an existing bath and merging into one.

So todays project was to put shutoff valves on the lines to the shower. I was going to do the lines to the tiolet and sink too while I was at it but !!!

Where I put them was easy access, I had to use the mini tubing cutter, but other than that no problem. Soldered the new valves into without a hitch, minor leak, quick fix.

BUT then a joint farther back starts leaking. This one is tucked in behind the cold line, behind duct work ...
So first I tried to heat it, flux it good and solder it.
Cramped in, half crouched, hot solder raining down on me, got it to a tiny leak.

Turn the water off AGAIN, take it apart, clean it good and put it back together.
Who ever did this, either the contractors that did a big job here years ago, or when the original owner redid the existing bath maybe half soldered it. How it hasn't leaked before is a wonder.
Again crouching in a tight space, having to be careful with the torch and hot solder raining down on me. GOT IT YEAH.

And people ask why I "Don't call the GUY" !!!!!!!!!!!!!
