Question New Years resolution thread

Well its that time again!! What new years resolutions are you planning? I havent thought of any yet. I am sure some will be imposed on me like;
1/ loose some weight.
2/ Put a larger pipe in the culvert under the drive out the front.

Ok, its over to every one else.

Mine are:-

1) Get that bloody car back on the road
2) Finish that OM617 engine rebuild write up I promised
3) Win some cash so I can get that 280SE (http://www.speurders.nl/overzicht/autos/klassiekers-en-oldtimers/nette-280se-automatic-1970-78062524.html?fh_start_index=15), the pickup (http://www.speurders.nl/overzicht/autos/klassiekers-en-oldtimers/f_carrosserie-pick2dup/studebaker-pickup-transstar-74912252.html?fh_start_index=15), and the Kaiser Manhattan (http://www.speurders.nl/overzicht/gebruiker-1632627/kaiser-manhattan-1953-54047179.html?fh_start_index=30) I saw for sale!

I resolve to not make any more New Year's Resolutions since I never keep up with them anyway.

I'm going to spend more time fishing this year! Spent 6 months of last year recovering from pneumonia and the other six months trying to get caught up at work from the first six months.

  1. Spending a lot of time and a lot of money on-the-road seeking sales and specifications of the building materials that I agent for. Which in turn procures more lines to agent for.
  2. Spending serious dollars remodeling/redecorating and making over of my personal residence in Texas.
  3. Lose about 15 pounds of excess body weight, and build my cardio capability back to where it was a few years ago.
Summary:
The increased activities of #1 will lead to the desired cash flow to accomplish #2, and will necessarily make #3 happen as well, while on-the-road working and playing more.

You can save loads of cash if you don't drink, don't smoke, don't do drugs and don't fix old cars!

I can attest to two out of your four examples given.
