Wow. Was expecting a crush between two vehicles. Glad he seemed ok, but I am sure the adrenaline kicked in quick. The footage may prove invaluable for insurance.

That was no accident. An accident happens when you're doing everything right and a lightning bolt hits your car.

Oh ,Im so sorry ,or you ok? My response would not be ,yes mam,I should of been looking in my rear view mirror for people not paying attention to the road so I could of got out of your way.It might be a good practice to build a sight on the eyes of people coming up behind you ,just in case its apperantly going to go very wrong like this accident. At least hes got it on tape .

It seems most of the people I know who ride bikes end up on the wrong end of a car or a truck. Recently met a man with a Harley-Davidson shirt who said he stopped riding when he attended a recent biker's rally and one in four attendees were in wheel chairs.

I've riden since I was 12. Buried quite a few friends along teh way who rode, some b/c of something dumb they did, but most because of cars. Too many people out there not paying attention any more. I think my riding days are behind me.

I started with mini bikes and then trail bikes and had a Suzuki GS450 in high school. I quit riding because even though you feel like you are in control, your life on a bike rests in the hands of the masses, and they are idiots.

I was thinking the same thing....the next video could have easily been "Rear-ended-biker-kicks-the-crap-out-of-cell-phone-using-driver."

I admire the guy's restraint. I'm afraid my Tourette's would have kicked in.

and it's bad enough in a car. Which is why I got into mercedes benz because of the safety record.
Nowadays, I'm tempted to strap on a racing helmet, racing harness and Nomex fire suit just to go to the grocery store. It is as though people are too busy texting, yakking on the cell phone, messing with the radio, etc etc rather than keeping their eyes on the road.

scary.
