Just how would I come to be in a California State prison? I've always wondered, and never heard anything to explain the descrepency. I suppose it's possible that I committed an even greater crime than murder in CA, and Nevada extradited me, but it seems likely that I'd mention that when telling my story. If I murder, say, a diplomat, or some sort of federal official, does that make my crime a federal offense? And if so, would the feds just put me wherever was easiest? I'd have thought I'd end up in a federal prison.
I've been puzzled by this for some time now. Any ideas?
