Need some help with the shorthand, fwiw

I've not new to the internet, but I've never really participated in instant messaging or been active on a message board, until I found this website last year. I've probably spent more time on this site than sleeping!

I'm struggling with some of the shorthand, and I've figured some of it out, I think... Some posts have so many abbreviations, I get a headache trying to figure them out. Btw, I have a degree in Linguistics, so you'd think I'd be pretty good at it.

The following are those that I think I got down. If you know any others, please feel free to post:

fwiw - for what it's worth
btw - by the way
imho - in my humble opinion
lol - lots of laughs

Kuan, that list is amazing! I'll have to print it out and tape it to the wall next to my computer. I don't think I'll ever be able to remember them all.

And here I thought I was an expert because I could navigate myself around the for sale ads, like PS, PW, PDL, AT, etc.
