Sometimes you just have to consider the source!

Driving a Miata on the street is as good as it gets for things to do with your clothes on. Driving one in Autocross is even better!

They are a blast to drive. Someday when I can afford to have a couple play cars, a Miata is one of them.

I've always found it ironic that many who play the "chick car" card every time a Miata, Boxter, etc. is mentioned are the same ones who question the prowess of lifted 4x4 drivers.

I like the later Miata's I think late 90's to 2005 years?

Simple cars and fun. I could probably get away with owning one. I already have a red cabriolet, whats a miata to do lol

oh oh, I have both The Miata shares it barn space with the '62 Dodge Powerwagon Soon, I'll but a "girl's" bike in there too, if I can get that '69 Sportster XLCH for the right price.

Oh yeah, I'd own a Boxter too and drive it like I stole it............

I think you may have meant 'Boxster??'

They are terrific cars from all I've read and heard from their owners. I would have to have a Boxster, long before even a BMW. I'm soooo partial to the Boxsters!

Anyone considering a Boxster should do some due diligence before considering one. The early models are a total pos, ever heard of the balance shaft problems? Forget about any kind of diy, these are not diy cars.

That's my kind of Sportster, right hand shift and kick start.

Back in the day, they were favored by bank robbers because the Electra Glides the cops used couldn't get out of their own way.

yep, the '69 was the pinnacle of HD performance. IIRC, it was the fastest accelerating motorcycle out that year. Then came teh CB750 and the world was never the same.....

XLCH's with the magneto are very hard to start, esp if the mag is not set up right.

A woman I dated about 6 years ago bought a VW bug convertible from the wife of a guy who died. His car had an F-86 Sabre Pilots Ass'n decal on driver's side rear window!
Might I suggest a "RLTW" decal (if appropriate) or something similar might be worth considering. It would add a nice touch imo.

Better touches: was driving Darling Wife's Miata to work for a few days (rotate through 'em now and again for grins/more frequent usage on the low runners).

Tried to get my new boss to let me drive to lunch - seems he was a bit uncomfortable about being the second guy in a Miata. Might have also had something to do with the flower leis and stickers on the roll bar ("All men are animals - some just make better pets" and "WRW").

Sporster knee...I remember and saw that.

My dream bike has always been a Shovster, but it's probably a lost art by now.

My consolation prize is a '86 Sporty, still chain drive, four speed and bone stock except for the S&S Super E, that's getting chucked for a SU carb setup when I do the top end this fall.
