Maybe they retired like the idiot they used to make fun of? Anyway, the less country "music," the better.

Whether you like them or not, they definitely are owning their actions and not backing down. I like their music and I have more respect for them now than I did. They did not say what ever the public wanted to hear just to get back in their good grace.

These are the lyrics of the song they wrote about the incident.

Quote:
Not Ready To Make Nice

Forgive, sounds good
Forget, I’m not sure I could
They say time heals everything
But I’m still waiting

I’m through with doubt
There’s nothing left for me to figure out
I’ve paid a price
And I’ll keep paying

I’m not ready to make nice
I’m not ready to back down
I’m still mad as hell and
I don’t have time to go round and round and round
It’s too late to make it right
I probably wouldn’t if I could
‘Cause I’m mad as hell
Can’t bring myself to do what it is you think I should

I know you said
Can’t you just get over it
It turned my whole world around
And I kind of like it

I made my bed and I sleep like a baby
With no regrets and I don’t mind sayin’
It’s a sad sad story when a mother will teach her
Daughter that she ought to hate a perfect stranger
And how in the world can the words that I said
Send somebody so over the edge
That they’d write me a letter
Sayin’ that I better shut up and sing
Or my life will be over

I’m not ready to make nice
I’m not ready to back down
I’m still mad as hell and
I don’t have time to go round and round and round
It’s too late to make it right
I probably wouldn’t if I could
‘Cause I’m mad as hell
Can’t bring myself to do what it is you think I should

I’m not ready to make nice
I’m not ready to back down
I’m still mad as hell and
I don’t have time to go round and round and round
It’s too late to make it right
I probably wouldn’t if I could
‘Cause I’m mad as hell
Can’t bring myself to do what it is you think I should

What it is you think I should

Forgive, sounds good
Forget, I’m not sure I could
They say time heals everything
But I’m still waiting

Yea the Dogmatic blond certainly had guts being outspoken -considering their audience. I like people who will say what needs to be said instead of going along like sheep.

According to Wikipedia:

As of July 2010, with 30.5 million certified albums,[4] and sales of 26,733,000 albums in the U.S., they have become the top selling all-female band in the U.S. during the Nielsen SoundScan era...

13 grammy's, including a best album of the year grammy. I sincerely doubt they're out begging for spare change, or for that matter, trolling message boards

How could they overlook "Take It Wheezy"?

I had no idea that there was such a negative audience for all country music among us. There's plenty to dislike in other genres like R&B, Rock, Jazz, and Classical, but do you really loathe or hate the entire country music catalog?

Pretty damn much. I also think that all banjos should be rounded up and used to make a nice bonfire...
