94 e320 wagon rearseat headrest

Hi! This question relates to a 1994 e320 wagon. I'm trying to lower the passenger side rear seat back to increase the cargo space. The seat back behind the driver works as expected. I cannot withdraw the supports for the headrest from the seat itself. Further I do not find a button like the ones I pressed to free the other headrests. Has anyone repaired a situation like this? Thanks!

they pull out, gently press the arms together and pull upwards. there should be a button in there though. I'll look at my wagon and see.

I can't say about this particular model, but some Mercedes sedans had a hidden button under the front seat's seatback, that had to be pushed in just the right spot to adjust or release the headrest

The rear headrests have a release button on the left (drivers) side post. Pull the headrest to its highest position, depress the release button and pull out the headrest.
I took the headrests out of my wagon long ago because I frequently have the seats folded down.
