Bluetooth headset?

Guys, the GF is needing a BT headset for somewhat safer talking/driving, plus the legal thing when traveling.

I have an old Jabra that's large and cumbersome. I'd like to find her a good one that's more up to date than that.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

Jawbone, if you check bensoutlet.com they have Ikons for $37.99 they are normally $75-100.

I did take a very hard look at the JB and seemed to read mixed reviews. Is there one generation or model better than another?

Yes much better the Ikon improved much over the Prime, all BT headsets will have mixed reviews since everyone has a fit/sound/functionality preference most people seem to prefer the Jawbone in my experience.

If you want to splurge get the Bose at $140 but I think the Jawbone Ikone or ERA is just as good.

That's a good idea but She already has a new non-bluetooth GPS.

I got my wife a Jabra Cruzer. She likes it. Clear voice reception and transmission. It also has a FM transmitter in it so it will use the car radio speakers and I can play Pandora from my smart phone as well as any MP3's I have on my phone.

I collect used or broken Blue-tooth head sets and give them to the homeless.

That way when they walk around talking to themselves they don't look crazy.

I have used, and been satisfied with, the Motorola H700 and now the H710. I like the fold out-to-turn-on feature and the sound quality has always been good.

Thanks for the ideas! I'm not so sure about the tape though... She has long hair and it might tangle!

Yes, he did say headset, but it's never been a good look on a woman . . .

Heck, even Brad Pitt barely pulls it off . . and most guys aren't Brad Pitt
