Mmmmm, yeah. Makes me sleep good at night knowing stuff like that is flowing in and out of MY lungs.

Ours were awful in the spring as wet as it was. As dry as it's been over the summer it's not too bad during the day but at night you need a good coating of DEET to keep them from sucking you dry.

Nothing like the ones in the woods of Maine, though. They'd carry you away. My uncle named the road to his development East Mosquitoville Road and founded the East Mosquitoville Volunteer Fire Dept. which was emblazoned down the side of his '55 American LaFrance pumper truck.

I think it's also the state bird.
